Cross Country - Calling All Runners!
All Academy students interested in joining the Academy Wolves' athletic teams next year should contact the Athletic Director Brendan McCarthy at academywolvessf@gmail.com or stop by the Academy main office in the 1st floor. We are currently meeting about our upcoming fall sports and have some important information to communicate regarding paperwork, schedules, expectations, and summer conditioning. Everyone is welcome to tryout and compete; however, you must register with the AD and meet certain checkpoints to confirm your participation.
NOTE: In order to tryout, all student-athletes MUST COMPLETE the participation packet (Physical Exam, Consent Form, Steroid Info Form, Concussion Info Form, Sudden Cardiac Arrest Info Form). You can pick these up in the SOTA or Academy main office.
Fall Sports begin in August, Winter Sports start in October, and Spring Sports kick off in January. Additionally, we encourage all players to join our summer strength and conditioning program.
2018-2019 Athletic Teams
- Fall: Cross Country, Girls Volleyball (JV and Varsity), Cheerleading
- Winter: Boys and Girls Basketball, Boys and Girls Soccer, Cheerleading
- Spring: Badminton, Baseball, Fencing, Girls Flag Football, Softball, Track & Field, Boys Volleyball
Finally, our Girls Volleyball tryouts will take place BEFORE school starts, so it is very important that you contact the coach and AD. The first official day is August 13th, and the first games are August 24th. Cross Country and Cheerleading will start practices on Monday, August 27th. We are looking for any interested 9th-12th grade students to join our teams.
